![]() ![]() This game is fine for kids that don't care about zombies. I am a strict dad of two well behaved children. ![]() However it is your decision as a parent, but i believe this game shouldbe allowed for any mature kid over 11. This game is basically just a video game version of the walking dead, and my son seems to enjoy playing it with his friends. All in all, this game is not nearly a s bad as the trailers make it seem, and is way better than games like cod and battlefield because not once do you even considder harming another human, only mythical creatures. Now, I never let my kids play games with the sexual content warning, but this game was ok ONLY because of the fact that there is only this type of content in one mission where a charecter uses a sex toy as weapon, but the game gave a option to skip this mission. I never heard the F word, and I think after 7 hours of watching i heard the s word a few times times- that was basically it. As far as language goes, I am very strongly against foul language in our household, but the game very rarely used any. As far as the game being "dark and morbid", It actually has good morals and the game is actually very bright and witty, such as the ability to swutch outfits to silly (Not in a innapropriate way, but in a good hearted, random humor type of way.)clothes like a dolphin costume or a obama mask. In fact, as strange as it sounds, you rarely even kill zombies, you just avoid them and run the other direction. As far as blood goes, it is very unrealistic and not as frequent as i had expected. Though the game is centered around killing zombies, the charecters are kind hearted people, and the missions are always centered around doing the right thing- For example, in the end of the game, one charecter gives up his own life to save his family from the zombies. And i have to say, it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought. As it actually sounded like a fair comprimise, i agreed and he turned it on and i watched him for a hour each day for a week. However, after i told him no, he asked if he could borrow it from a friend to show me that the game wasnt that bad. My first reaction was - For sure no, you will never get this game- as there was blood and gore galore in the trailer, and the game seemed dark and morbid, as I am very strongly against the mindless violence in todays culture. I, as a strict parent, knew better than to just buy him the game, so i looked up the title and watched the trailer. ![]() Recently, my son asked me if he could get this game on black friday, because ALL his friends had it, and nobody had the game he had (cod ghosts). Hello, I am a parent of a 13 year old and a 11 year old boy.
